I am seriously just about to give up on Family Home Evening around here. Hallee is the FHE Nazi and does not let us forget about it and talks about it all week long. You would think with that kind of excitement we would have some really meaningful moments but they always seem to backfire. Our lessons are SUPER short and yet they still seem to extend beyond their attention spans. For example, this week Troy talked about Joseph Smith's First Vision and it's significance in our lives. At the end of the lesson Troy asked the girls, "So, if someone were to ask you what church you belong to, what would you say?" Hope's response, "NONE OF THEM. BECAUSE NONE OF THEM ARE TRUE."
And now you know why we struggle with FHE around here.

thanks for the good laugh, Hope! Count on you to always have a funny comment!
Oh you just have to love Hopers. She is a hoot. And yes, Kaylee is doing Irish dancing now. She started a few weeks ago. I felt bad that her first performance had to be Peach days, because the parade was way toooo long for the little ones. Have a good day!
That is great! Just so you don't feel too bad, on Monday night after I had finished bearing my testimony at the end of my (what I had thought was an effective) FHE lesson, #1 comes over to whisper something (I thought it would be a profound spiritual insight) in my ear. "Don't tell anyone. I actually don't like church." Nice.
Ya gotta love it!!!! Kids bring you back to reality in a big hurry. Some day Hope is going to just sit and laugh at all the funny things she has said growing up. What a girl!!!!
Hehehe... only Hope would say something so funny!
tee-hee....love it!! Stick to it....pretty soon they'll be able to teach for you!
